JLL Arranges $47M Financing for Amaranth at North Brunswick in New Jersey

NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. — JLL Capital Markets has arranged $47 million in financing for the recently constructed Amaranth at North Brunswick, a 222-unit active adult community in North Brunswick, approximately midway between Newark and Trenton. JLL represented the borrower, The Kaplan Companies, in securing the seven-year, fixed-rate loan from Nuveen Real Estate. Proceeds were utilized to retire its existing construction loan. PORTLAND, Ore. — Vassar Byrd has announced plans to resign as CEO of Rose Villa, the nonprofit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Portland she has served for 17 years.  Byrd’s decision follows the completion of Rose Villa’s 10-year master plan and campus redevelopment. Blueprint Negotiates Sale of 48-Unit Community in Chattanooga, Tennessee

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of a 48-unit assisted living community in Chattanooga. An institutional REIT sold the asset to an investor looking to grow its regional platform in the Southeast. The price was not disclosed. The building was constructed in 2000 and historically has performed well, according to Blueprint. Kyle Hallion and Brooks Blackmon led the transaction for Blueprint.

HTG Breaks Ground on $41M Hillsboro Landing Affordable Community in Deerfield Beach, Florida

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — Housing Trust Group (HTG) has started construction of Hillsboro Landing, a $41 million affordable seniors housing community in Deerfield Beach, approximately 45 miles north of Miami. The 75-unit community is a joint venture between HTG and the Broward County Housing Authority.  Apartments at Hillsboro Landing will be reserved for income-qualifying residents age 62 and older who earn at or below 22, 25 and 60 percent of the area median income (AMI).
