LANHAM, Md. — Avison Young has sold Residence on Greenbelt, an 89-unit assisted living and memory care community located at 9885 Greenbelt Road in Lanham, Md., for $18 million.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Senior Capital Advisors, representing seller Principal Senior Living Group, has sold of Benton House of Shoal Creek, a 73-unit, 88-bed assisted living and memory care community in Kansas City, Mo. The facility was sold to American Realty Capital Healthcare Trust II for $28.5 million, or $390,000 per unit. Bruce Gibson, principal with Senior Capital Advisors, led the sale.
NEW LENOX, Ill. — Walker & Dunlop, Inc. (NYSE: WD) has closed a $20 million loan for the refinance of Cottages of New Lenox, a 80-unit, 100-bed, assisted living and memory care facility located in New Lenox, Ill.
DALLAS — Grandbridge Real Estate Capital has arranged a $6 million loan for Acadia Assisted Living, an 88-unit seniors housing community located in Dallas.
FORT MYERS, Fla. — Recognizing a need for more assisted living care in southwest Florida, Omega Communities, LLC, has purchased 8.93 acres of land at Six Mile Cypress Parkway just south of Daniels Parkway in Fort Myers for $2.05 million. Omega plans to develop a senior living community on the parcel.
NORTH BRANFORD, Conn. — Capital One served as lead and administrative agent for a $52 million senior secured term loan to refinance Evergreen Woods, a continuing care retirement community in North Branford, Conn.
Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has sold Skyline Manor, a 394-bed CCRC located in Omaha, Nebraska. Blueprint represented the trustee appointed by the U.S. bankruptcy court in a 363 sale.
MALDEN, Mass. – Berkeley Point has closed a $16.2 million Freddie Mac 7-year floating rate term loan for Atria Senior Living and its partners. The loan refinanced existing first mortgage debt due to Mass Housing and facilitated the buyout of its tax credit equity partner.
ATLANTA — AdCare Health Systems, Inc. (NYSE MKT: ADK), (NYSE MKT: ADK.PRA), a long-term care provider, has signed an agreement with affiliates of Wellington Healthcare Services, an operator of long-term care facilities, to lease two of its skilled nursing facilities in Georgia. The move is part of AdCare’s ongoing strategic plan to transition from an owner and operator of healthcare facilities to a healthcare property holding and leasing company.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Mike Levitt, vice president and chief compliance officer for Tutera Senior Living & Health Care, has been elected vice president of the Missouri Board of Nursing Home Administrators. The two-year term began in January 2015. Appointed by Missouri Governor Jay Nixon, Levitt has served on the board since 2011.
