Blueprint Negotiates Sale of Community in Alabama

ALABAMA — Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of a seniors housing community in Alabama.

A longtime owner-operator looking to divest one of its legacy assets sold the property to a 1031 exchange buyer. The buyer in an Alabama-based owner-operator looking to re-enter the seniors housing space.

The community was built in 1997 for assisted living, then expanded in 1999 to include independent living. The sale also included excess land for further independent living development.

The price, name and specific location of the transaction were not disclosed.

Brooks Blackmon of Blueprint was the lead advisor on the transaction.
