BEAUMONT, Texas — Buckner Retirement Services has named Samantha McCain as the new executive director for Calder Woods in Beaumont.
As executive director of the faith-based senior living community, McCain will oversee community operations, regulatory compliance, and resident and associate relations.
Most recently, McCain served as Calder Woods’ interim executive director and interim healthcare administrator.
McCain has extensive senior living experience spanning more than 20 years. She has previously been employed by Colonial Healthcare, Trinity Healthcare, Community Care Center of Hondo, Bandera Nursing and Rehab SCC, Archer Healthcare Providers and United Regional Healthcare, where she held leadership positions in nursing, healthcare administration and operations.
McCain has an associate’s degree in applied science nursing from Vernon College, a bachelor’s degree in health services administration from Baker College, a registered nurse license from the State of Texas and a license in nursing home administration.
