by Hayden Spiess

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — BWE has arranged a $101 million bridge loan for the refinancing of RISE at Glen Kernan Park, a newly delivered active adult community in Jacksonville. Developer and property management firm RISE is the borrower.

Rise at Glen Kernan Park, which totals 308 units, received its final certificate of occupancy in May 2026. Residences at the community include one- and two-bedroom apartments and single-story cottages reserved for residents age 55 and older. Amenities at the property include a clubhouse, fitness facility, swimming pool, pickleball courts and a bar and lounge room.

Andy Effler of BWE led the loan origination on behalf of RISE. Proceeds from the financing will be used to retire the construction and mezzanine debt for the property.
