CareOne Appoints Dr. Amina Ahmed as Chief Medical Officer

FORT LEE, N.J. — CareOne has hired Dr. Amina Ahmed as the company’s new chief medical officer.

Ahmed, a board certified internal medicine physician, served most recently as the chief of hospitalist medicine and post-acute care for Summit Medical.

In her role at CareOne, Ahmed will lead and develop clinical systems, infrastructure and protocols to support CareOne’s entire network of services. Additionally she will oversee the development of the company’s physician enterprise and Clinician Integrated Network.

Headquartered in Fort Lee, CareOne has 55 centers throughout New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Maryland offering post-hospital care, rehabilitation, assisted living, memory care, long-term care and a variety of clinical specialty programs.
