The community is located in Dunbar, five miles east of Charleston. It was originally built in 1990, and underwent additional expansions in 1999, 2003 and 2007. Today the community has 75 functional beds and 85 licensed beds, and the resident base is 100 percent private pay. GULF BREEZE, Fla. — Coldwell Banker Commercial has arranged the sale of Watermark of Gulf Breeze, an assisted living facility in Gulf Breeze, located across Pensacola Bay from Pensacola. The property sold for $8.2 million. The buyer and seller were not disclosed. Michael Mangrum, commercial state director for Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT in Florida, brought the property to market with Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT’s accelerated marketing team led by David Lowry and Roman Tsimberg. The property received 6,353 potential buyers, 138 confidentiality agreements and 16 fully approved bidders.

BASKING RIDGE, N.J. — Callahan Construction Managers has broken ground on Residence at Basking Ridge, a 90-unit seniors housing project that will be located about 40 miles west of New York City. Developed by LCB Senior Living and designed by The Architectural Team, the property will offer assisted living, memory care and respite care services. Amenities will include common living rooms, a bistro, salon and a fitness area. The development team expects to begin welcoming residents in early 2023.

QUAIL CREEK, Okla. — Evans Senior Investments (ESI) has arranged the sale of Quail Creek, a 103-unit assisted living and memory care community in the Oklahoma City suburb of Quail Creek. A private equity investor sold the asset to a regional operator for $6.5 million, or $63,000 per unit. Built in 1999, the community is licensed for 116 beds and the community’s resident base is 100% private pay. DALLAS — Cadence McShane Construction Co. has started construction of Anthology of Highland Park, located in the Highland Park neighborhood of Dallas. Anthology Senior Living is developing the 11-story assisted living community, which will feature 121 units. PRDG is the designer. The 130,000-square-foot development will incorporate 24 memory care units occupying the second floor, and 97 assisted living units on the remaining floors. The 79-unit community features floorplans ranging from studio to one- and two- bedroom options. WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Berkadia has arranged the sale of Edgeworth Park at New Town, an 83-unit, 95-bed senior living community in Williamsburg, for an undisclosed price. Tim Cobb and Brooks Minford of Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare completed the transaction on behalf of the seller, Virginia-based Robertson Liebler. The buyer was Connecticut-based Wheelock Street Capital. Solera Senior Living will serve as the new operator. Built in 2017, Edgeworth Park at New Town is a Class A assisted living and memory care community.
