COVINGTON, La. — Avanti Senior Living, a developer and operator of luxury seniors housing properties, has announced plans to build Avanti Senior Living at Covington, an assisted living and memory care community in the New Orleans suburb of Covington.

SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. —McCrory Construction Co., a South Carolina-based builder, has broken ground on The Crossing at Five Forks, an independent living, assisted living and memory care community in Simpsonville, located in Upstate South Carolina.

ATHENS, Tenn. — Domnion Senior Living has broken ground on Dominion Senior Living of Athens, an $8 million seniors housing community located midway between Knoxville and Chattanooga.

BLUFFTON, S.C. — Winter Construction has started construction on the new Canterfield Senior Living facility in Bluffton, about 20 miles northeast of Savannah, Ga.

HOLTSVILLE and LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. — Harrison Street Real Estate Capital LLC, a private equity firm based in Chicago, is partnering with developer and operator Engel Burman to develop two new seniors housing communities on New York’s Long Island.
