LONG BEACH, Calif. — Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of Brittany House Memory Care Center in Long Beach, just south of Los Angeles. The seller is a San Diego-based developer and operator looking to focus its resources on a newly developed portfolio of communities throughout Orange and San Diego counties. NORWOOD, Mass. — LCB Senior Living, a Norwood-based owner-operator, has promoted Amber Evans to vice president of memory care and resident engagement. In this role, Evans will oversee LCB’s Reflections Memory Care Program and resident engagement operations. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Berkadia has arranged the financing of a 72-bed memory care facility in Colorado Springs.  Jay Healy and Andrew Lanzaro of Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare secured a $14.4 million bridge loan to retire the existing construction debt and transaction costs. Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare was able to offer an 18-month, floating-rate, bridge-to-HUD loan to allow the borrower enough time to continue improving NOI to a level that will support a HUD refinancing. PORTLAND, Ore. — Senior Living Investment Brokerage (SLIB) has arranged the sale of Revere Court, a 30-unit memory care community in Portland. The facility was built in 2010 and expanded in 2013. It totals 16,300 square feet on two acres of land, A REIT sold the asset to a local owner-operator for an undisclosed price. PALM BEACH, Fla. — Alta Senior Living has acquired Palm Beach Memory Care, a newly constructed 60-unit memory care community located in North Palm Beach.  The community opened with 20 percent of the units already pre-leased. It is strategically located near Alta Senior Living’s regional office that shares space with restaurant tenant, DeSano Pizza. Dan Baker with JLL arranged the sale. WICHITA, Kan. — Anthem Memory Care has named Sara Miller as executive director for Chisholm Place in Wichita. She will oversee all daily care, programming and operations. Miller previously was residence director and assistant residence director with Legend Senior Living. She brings over 16 years of healthcare experience to this position.  Miller earned a bachelor’s degree in health services management and community development with a minor in aging studies from Wichita State University.
