ORLEANS, Mass. — Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of The Terraces Orleans, a 50-bed skilled nursing facility and 19-unit independent living community in Orleans, a town on Cape Cod. The property was built in 1968 and thoroughly renovated in 2000. The buyer was a Massachusetts-based operator looking to grow its regional presence with its first real estate acquisition. The seller and price were not disclosed.

MARBLEHEAD, Mass. — Callahan Construction Managers has broken ground on The Mariner in Marblehead, located on the coastal North Shore area near Boston. The 83,000 square foot, three-story building will feature 61 assisted living units and 26 memory care units, with a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans. The Northbridge Cos., in partnership with the local development team of Heather Cairns, Michael Lafayette and Philip Helmes, is developing the building with EGA serving as the architect. HOLBROOK, Mass. — Port One Cos. and Tiderock Cos. have formed a partnership to develop a 410-unit seniors housing community on a 48-acre parcel in Holbrook, approximately 15 miles south of Boston. The estimated budget for this project is $190 million. The developers are under contract to acquire the site for $19 million. Tiderock will provide operational support and oversight including but not limited to project management, marketing, budgeting, product mix, and review of and negotiations for limited partner equity and debt.
