Three Pennsylvania Nonprofit Owners to Affiliate to Form Ilumin

NEW HOLLAND, Pa. — Three of Pennsylvania’s leading nonprofit, faith-based senior living organizations — Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries of Altoona (ALSM), Liberty Lutheran Services of Ambler and Garden Spot Communities of New Holland — have announced plans to affiliate under the new parent company name Ilumin. The affiliation is subject to the receipt of certain regulatory approvals and consents, which the three organizations hope to receive by spring of 2022. KeyBank Provides $69.8M Financing for Redevelopment of Affordable Housing Community in Tampa

PETERSBURG, Fla. — KeyBank Community Development Lending and Investment and KeyBank Real Estate Capital have provided a total of $69.8 million for the redevelopment of Jordan Park Apartments in St. Petersburg. Norstar Development USA-CDL, a Buffalo, N.Y.-based affordable housing developer, and the St. Petersburg Housing Authority are working together on the project, the timeline of which was not disclosed. Sonida Acquires Two Communities in Metro Indianapolis for $12.3M

INDIANAPOLIS — Sonida Senior Living has acquired two recently renovated senior living communities in metro Indianapolis for approximately $12.3 million. Core Redevelopment, a local multifamily developer and manager, acquired the communities in 2019 and immediately rebranded and repositioned the properties through interior and exterior renovations. Silverpoint, Journey Capital Complete Phase I of Edition of Saginaw in Texas

SAGINAW, Texas — Journey Capital and SilverPoint Senior Living have opened Phase I and broken ground on Phase II at Edition of Saginaw, a 6.2-acre senior living campus in Saginaw. Located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroxplex, Phase I includes 22 one- and two-bedroom independent living cottages. Phase II will add 74 assisted living and memory care apartments. The 57,000-square-foot expansion is slated to open fall of 2023. This will mark the fourth collaboration and partnership between SilverPoint and Journey Capital.
