NEWTON, Mass. — David Hegarty has announced his plans to retire as president and chief operating officer of Senior Housing Properties Trust (NASDAQ: SNH). Jennifer Francis, currently a senior vice president with SNH parent company RMR Group, will replace Hegarty effective May 1.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. — Tony Mullen, CEO of Newtown Square-based seniors housing developer Royal Star Properties, has passed away following a heart attack at age 61.

ANAHEIM HILLS, Calif. — JCH Consulting Group, an Anaheim Hills-based brokerage firm, has hired Michael Mooney. His responsibilities will include originating new business and executing transactions.
