SYKESVILLE, Md. — Healthcare Transactions Group Inc. has arranged the sale of Transitions Healthcare at Sykesville, a 118-bed skilled nursing facility in Sykesville, approximately 25 miles northwest of Baltimore.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Occupancy in the skilled nursing segment has been declining for years, a slide to a record-low 81.7 percent in second-quarter 2018, according to data compiled by the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC).

CHICAGO — Interra Realty has brokered the $6 million sale of a four-story skilled nursing facility in Chicago’s West Loop. 

FREMONT, Ohio — Senior Living Investment Brokerage has arranged the sale of Pristine Senior Living and Post-Acute Care of Fremont, an 82-bed skilled nursing facility, for $2 million.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Strawberry Fields REIT LLC, a healthcare REIT based in South Bend, has acquired nine skilled nursing facilities in Arkansas and one in Kentucky in two separate deals. The combined purchase price was $42.4 million.

ST.  CHARLES, Ill. — Senior Living Investment Brokerage has negotiated the sale of Presence Pine View Care Center in the Chicago suburb of St. Charles for $5.5 million.

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — Senior Living Investment Brokerage has arranged the sale of Sanctuary at the Shore, a 126-bed skilled nursing facility in Grand Haven. The city is located along Lake Michigan just west of Grand Rapids.
