EPOCH Senior Living Names Laurie Gerber as Chairperson

WALTHAM, Mass. — EPOCH Senior Living has named Laurie Gerber, wife of the late EPOCH founder and CEO Larry Gerber, has been named the company’s chairperson. Laurie will work alongside the Waltham-based EPOCH management team.

Larry founded the company in 1997. Under his leadership, the company grew significantly to include five Waterstone Senior Living communities and 11 Bridges by EPOCH memory care assisted living communities located throughout the Northeast. Larry died on March 25 at the age of 66.

Laurie is an executive with over two decades of experience as a business leader. Prior to her new role at EPOCH, she served as the chief financial officer and chief compliance officer for Great Hill Partners, a private equity firm. She has also served as the chief financial officer of a healthcare REIT and a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, an accounting firm.
