Fortune magazine, along with its research partner Great Place to Work, has released its 2019 list of “The 50 Best Places to Work in Aging Services.” The list features the top 10 home care companies, the top 20 large companies in seniors housing, and the top 20 small/medium companies in seniors housing.
The results come from Great Place to Work analyzing survey results from more than 223,000 employees of companies within the industry.
After missing the list entirely in 2018, Baltimore-based Brightview Senior Living took home top honors. The company has nearly 4,000 employees serving its 35 communities in eight states. Nearly 90 percent of employees rate the company as “a great place to work” according to the results.
The rest of the top five companies were, in order: Morton Grove, Illinois-based Citadel Healthcare; Louisville, Kentucky-based Signature HealthCARE; Louisville, Kentucky-based Trilogy Health Services; and Chicago-based Vi.
