COLUMBUS, Ohio — Huntington Bancshares Inc. has named financial services veteran John Langenderfer the company’s director of healthcare sales and origination.
Langenderfer will work across the six-state Huntington footprint to broaden the company’s commercial banking relationships with hospitals, medical and dental groups, senior living and long-term-care facilities, home healthcare, medical device manufacturers, specialty pharmaceuticals and other niche healthcare services.
Langenderfer most recently served in U.S. Bank’s healthcare division. He also previously worked as managing director of Ludlow Ward & Greenberg’s healthcare division following a stint at KeyBanc Capital Markets where he helped establish the organization’s healthcare practice.
Langenderfer received bachelor’s degrees in marketing and finance from the University of Toledo. He also holds an MBA from Xavier University with a major in finance.
