NEW YORK CITY — Leumi, a New York-based lender, has hired Daniel Csillag as group head for the company’s healthcare program on the Northeast Middle Market team.
Csillag will oversee the bank’s healthcare commercial banking business in the Northeast region. He will report to Northeast Market President Robert Maichin and Eric Halpern, Leumi’s national head of healthcare.
Csillag brings more than 20 years of diversified corporate banking experience, all within the New York metropolitan area. He joins Leumi from TD Bank, where he was most recently a relationship manager for the bank’s healthcare group. His responsibilities at TD Bank included courting new business opportunities in the long-term health space and managing TD’s legacy relationships.
Csillag graduated from the Columbia School of Engineering and Applied Science and completed the Concordia MBA program in Montreal, Quebec.
