Maplewood Senior Living Hires Two to Clinical Care Team

WESTPORT, Conn. — Maplewood Senior Living has hired Dawn Jones as corporate director of resident care and Annette Cochefski as regional director of resident services for Connecticut.

Jones, a board-certified nurse, will supervise the implementation of Maplewood Senior Living’s standards of resident care. She will ensure that all residents are overseen in the most efficient way, with an emphasis on quality of life, safe aging and an optimal healthy lifestyle.

Jones has over 15 years of assisted living experience, previously serving as a director of nursing as well as executive director, and then regional nurse covering several communities in a portfolio. She received an associate’s degree in nursing from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Felician University.

Cochefski most recently worked for Brookdale Senior Living as the director of clinical services with over 25 years of clinical multistate responsibilities. Prior to her role at Brookdale, she held various multi-site positions with Benchmark Senior Living, Maxim Healthcare Service, Amedysis Home Care and the BCBS Association.

Cochefski is a board member of the Connecticut Assisted Living Association and brings a history of regulatory compliance and credibility with the Department of Public Health.

Based in Westport, Maplewood Senior Living owns and operates 16 senior living communities in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Ohio.
