M&T Hires JLL Origination Team Specializing in Seniors Housing, HUD

SEATTLE — M&T Realty Capital Corp. has hired James Schneider II as senior managing director, William Roach and Madeleine Roach as managing directors, and Shawn Needham as production analyst.

The team is based in Seattle, and will originate GSE and FHA/HUD MAP and LEAN loans for multifamily, seniors housing, and healthcare properties on a nationwide basis.

The team comes to M&T from Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), where each held a similar role in JLL’s Capital Markets division. Prior to this appointment, Schneider worked at PGIM and Centennial Mortgage for 16 years, closing more than $2 billion of HUD debt during his tenure. William and Madeleine Roach worked as loan officers at Centennial Mortgage in HUD origination prior to their move to JLL. Needham comes to M&T with over 10 years of project management experience.

Schneider holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Seattle University, and an M.B.A. from Loyola University Chicago. He is an active member of National Investment Center, American Seniors Housing Association, National Multi-Housing Council, Mortgage Bankers Association, NAIOP, and Urban Land Institute.

William Roach holds a bachelor’s degree from Gonzaga University. Madeleine Roach holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Gonzaga University.
