DALLAS — Newmark Knight Frank has hired Ryan Maconachy, Chad Lavender, Dave Fasano, Ross Sanders and Sarah Anderson.
The Dallas-based seniors housing brokerage team all came from HFF. Maconachy, Lavender, Fasano and Sanders specialize in investment sales while Anderson specializes in debt and equity.
Bringing over 25 years of combined experience Lavender and Maconachy have completed over $30 billion in combined healthcare-related transactions while Fasano and Sanders more than $12 billion on behalf of some of the nation’s largest healthcare and seniors housing owners. Anderson has financed over $7 billion on behalf of some of the nation’s most active industry sponsors. In addition to seniors housing, Maconachy and Lavender will also focus on medical office, life sciences and hospitals, as well as other alternative real estate asset classes.
“This sector has boasted an average annual investment sales volume of over $17 billion over the past five years,” says CEO Barry Gosin. “The demographics fueling healthcare investment and the significant push from institutional capital to focus on specialty property types and alternative assets reaffirms why we are so committed to the healthcare and seniors housing space as a long-term growth sector for the firm.”
Lavender, Maconachy, Fasano, Sanders and Anderson have handled numerous noteworthy transactions, including some of the largest and more unique healthcare and seniors housing sales nationwide. Recent transactions include the take private of Sentio Healthcare Properties, a public non-traded REIT; the sale of Brookdale Battery Park; and the sale and financing of The Somerby Senior Living portfolio and operating platform.
