Resort Lifestyle Communities to Break Ground on $30M Independent Living Project in Michigan

COMMERCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) plans to break ground Aug. 7 on an independent living community in Commerce Township, approximately 30 miles northwest of Detroit.

The 180,000-square-foot development is named Rolling Hills, and will feature 128 units, plus a guest unit and live-in manager unit. Development costs were estimated at $30 million.

This is RLC’s first development in Michigan. The number of units and construction timeline were not yet released.
