STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. — Singh Development has completed a $1 million renovation project at Waltonwood Lakeside, an independent living, assisted living and memory care community in the Detroit suburb of Sterling Heights.
The project took eight months to complete. Renovations included a full interior overhaul with all new finishes, furniture, draperies, accessories and artwork throughout, as well as a remodeled and upgraded café, new signage and environmentally friendly LED light fixtures. More than 60,000 square feet were renovated.
“As we build new senior living communities across the country, we are taking what we learn from those projects and updating our current portfolio,” says Kathryn Pytiak, project design manager for Singh Development. “Waltonwood Lakeside was built in 2007, so we wanted to bring current trends into the community to make it more esthetically pleasing and comfortable.”
Singh is a real estate developer based in West Bloomfield, with a regional office also located in Cary, N.C.
