OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Tutera Senior Living & Healthcare has unveiled plans for a $1.5 million renovation project at The Atriums, a seniors housing community in the Kansas City suburb of Overland Park.
Phase I of the project includes a $500,000 remodel of the first-floor common living spaces. Phase II will be a $1 million remodel of The Atrium’s 203 resident apartments homes.
Phase I is already nearing completion, including the main dining area, community lounges for entertaining, a pub, cards and billiards room, grand piano, reading corner and more.
During Phase II of the remodel, Tutera will update finishes within The Atriums’ 168 independent living apartments and 35 assisted living apartments. The residences will be modernized with new lighting, flooring, paint and other finishes. Phase II is scheduled for completion in 2020.
