GLENVIEW, Ill. — Allegro Senior Living has opened a welcome center for its second Avidor-branded active adult community, which will be located in Glenview, 18 miles northwest of downtown Chicago.
The community will be located on 3.2 acres and feature 168 units, 64 surface parking spaces and 168 garage parking spaces. The property will be restricted to residents age 55 and older.
Avidor residents are expected to start moving in during winter 2019. High Street Residential, a subsidiary of Trammell Crow Co., is developing the project. Allegro will operate the community upon completion.
Three Avidor communities are being simultaneously constructed. The first in Edina, Minn., is scheduled to open this spring. The third, to be located in Evanston, Ill., is in the early stages of construction.
