Evergreen Construction Company, a division of Evergreen Real Estate Group, is serving as general contractor on the development and plans to officially break ground on Oct. 28. CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Newbridge Properties has broken ground on Newbridge Retirement Community in Cape Girardeau, located along the Mississippi River in the southeast portion of the state. The 75,000-square-foot community will feature 46 assisted living units, 12 second-person accommodations for couples and 36 memory care units. Vessel Architecture is the architect for the facility, while IMPACT Strategies is the construction manager. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of 2022.

WEST DUNDEE, Ill. — McShane Construction Co. has been selected by Westbrook at Canterfield, LLC to build Woodlands at Canterfield in West Dundee, approximately 40 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. NEW JERSEY — BHI’s Healthcare Group has provided $31.1 million to Lionstone Care for the acquisition of an assisted living and memory care facility in Southern New Jersey. The facility has 110 units and is licensed for 130 beds. “Almost completely occupied, [the facility] has historically yielded impressive results,” says Tami Antebi, head of BHI’s Healthcare Group.
FAIRBANKS, Alaska — Live Oak Bank has provided a $15 million construction loan for owner-operator Frontier Partners LLC to support the development of a 68-unit assisted living community in Fairbanks.
