COCKEYSVILLE, Md. — Broadmead, an independent continuing care retirement community in the Baltimore suburb of Cockeysville, has unveiled plans for two centers of excellence at the community.

DAYTON, Ohio —Guttman Properties and Civitas Senior Living of Fort Worth have partnered to plan The Grand of Sugarcreek, a luxury senior living community in Dayton.

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio — United Church Homes (UCH) has unveiled a planned $18 million expansion at Trinity Community, an independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing community in the Dayton suburb of Beavercreek.

TUCSON, Ariz. — Watermark Retirement Communities has opened The Hacienda at the River, a 129-unit assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing community in Tucson.

With construction costs rising and the supply of talented staff diminishing, doing business has never been more expensive for seniors housing developers.  As such, both developers and operators are seeking new ways to save money.
