SLIB Negotiates Sale of 82-Unit Cottonwood Cove in Chubbuck, Idaho

CHUBBUCK, Idaho — Senior Living Investment Brokerage (SLIB) has arranged the sale of Cottonwood Cove, an 82-unit independent living community in Chubbuck, located in the southeast portion of the state. The facility was built in 1987 and totals 117,828 square feet on approximately five acres. The price was not disclosed. Cottonwood Cove has consistently performed even through the pandemic, with an occupancy near 100 percent on an ongoing basis, according to SLIB. Sonida Senior Living Agrees to Acquire Two Communities Near Indianapolis for $12.3M

BROWNSBURG and PLAINFIELD, Ind. — Sonida Senior Living Inc. (NYSE: SNDA) has agreed to acquire two recently renovated seniors housing communities in metro Indianapolis for $12.3 million. Formerly known as Capital Senior Living, the Dallas-based owner-operator rebranded as Sonida in November and began trading under its new stock symbol. The communities, Northfield Senior Living in Brownsburg and Southfield Senior Living in Plainfield, total 157 independent living units and are located approximately 20 minutes outside of downtown Indianapolis. HJ Sims Arranges $26.3M Acquisition Financing for Polaris Retirement Community in Columbus, Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio — HJ Sims has arranged $26.3 million in financing for United Church Homes, a seniors housing provider based in Sandusky. The borrower will use the funds to acquire Polaris Retirement Community in Columbus from Polaris Retirement Living Properties LP. The newly built independent living community features 136 one- and two-bedroom apartments. The Polaris Retirement Community was in the final stages of construction when UCH was invited to bid on acquiring the project. BLOOMFIELD, Mich. — American House Senior Living Communities and MHT Housing Inc. have unveiled plans for American House Village at Bloomfield, an independent living community in Bloomfield, a suburb of Detroit.
