(Nasdaq: ENSG) has acquired the real estate and operations of Atchison Senior Village Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a 45-bed skilled nursing facility located in Atchison, located along the Missouri river approximately 45 miles northwest of Kansas City. The real estate was acquired by a subsidiary of Standard Bearer Healthcare REIT Inc., Ensign’s captive real estate company. OLATHE, Kan. — Hunt Midwest and Principal Senior Living Group have completed a 21-unit memory care expansion at Benton House of Olathe, approximately 20 miles southwest of Kansas City. The expansion more than doubles the number of memory care apartments available in the community’s Beacon Neighborhood. Residents are scheduled to move in to the new apartments in March. Benton House of Olathe now offers 76 total residences, including 35 memory care apartments and 41 studio and one-bedroom assisted living suites. KANSAS — Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of a 58-unit assisted living community in Central Kansas. The community was built in the early 1990s and was well maintained by current ownership including a $400,000 capital expenditure investment to ensure the community remained competitive within the local market, according to Blueprint. The buyer was a Kansas-based owner-operator. The seller, price and further details were not disclosed. Amy Sitzman, Giancarlo Riso and Kory Buzin led the Blueprint team.

PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. — Lifespace has completed renovations at Claridge Court, a seniors housing community in Prairie Village, approximately 10 miles south of Kansas City. The project, which updated Claridge Court’s living spaces, communal areas and amenities, took about a year.
