Anthem Appoints Iva Prinsen as Executive Director for Chelsea Place in Aurora, Colorado
AURORA, Colo. — Anthem Memory Care has named Iva Prinsen as executive director for Chelsea Place in Aurora. In this capacity, she will oversee all daily care, programming and operations. Prinsen previously was executive director for Springbrooke Senior Living in Denver. She also served as the licensed nursing home administrator for Azria Health in Blue Hill, Nebraska. Prinsen brings over 35 years of senior living experience to this position. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Stevens-Henager College in Salt Lake City.
NEWARK, Del. — Kendal, a Newark based nonprofit owner of large-scale continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), has hired Vassar Byrd as CEO. She will join the organization in January. Byrd previously led Rose Villa, a CCRC in Portland, Oregon, through a 10-year transformation before announcing her plans to move on this summer. She also recently served as president of LeadingAge Oregon’s Board of Directors. Amy Harrison, who has served as interim CEO since the beginning of the year, will resume her role as chief financial officer.
