NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Clearwater Senior Living (CSL), a Newport Beach-based seniors housing developer, has hired Danielle Morgan as the company’s president.
In her new role, Morgan will oversee operations and expand the company’s independent living, assisted living and memory care footprint throughout the Western United States including independent, assisted living and memory care communities.
Most recently Morgan served as chief operations officer for MBK Senior Living where she was responsible for day-to-day operations oversight for all of MBK’s communities.
Morgan has served in various roles within senior housing industry associations. She is currently serving as treasurer for the Board of Directors for the California Assisted Living Association (CALA), and recently was named to the American Senior Housing Association (ASHA) board.
Morgan earned a bachelor’s degree in long-term healthcare from Ohio University, and an MBA from The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. She also holds a Nursing Home Administrator license.
Morgan’s hiring comes on the heels of the CSL’s formation of a joint venture with an affiliate of Berkshire Group. The partnership was formed to develop and acquire seniors housing communities with an initial $500 million in gross asset value over the next three to five years.
