Commonwealth Plans $900,000 Memory Care Expansion in Virginia

FARNHAM, Va. — Commonwealth Assisted Living has announced plans to add six new memory care suites to Commonwealth Assisted Living at Farnham, the company’s existing community in Farnham, in eastern Virginia nestled between the Rappahannock River, Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay.

Estimated costs for the new wing are $900,000. Commonwealth purchased the community in 2012, featuring independent living, assisted living and the company’s “Sweet Memories” memory care services.

The expansion is scheduled for completion by the first quarter of 2017.   

Commonwealth Assisted Living is a Charlottesville-based company that operates 23 senior living communities throughout Virginia.
