CHASKA, Minn. — The Goodman Group, a developer and operator of senior living and healthcare communities, has appointed Dee Leman to the position of national director of rehabilitation services.
In her new role, Leman will oversee all Rehabilitation Services offered at The Goodman Group’s managed senior living and healthcare communities, including physical, occupational and speech therapy, and will collaborate on restorative therapies. She will be based out of the company’s Chaska headquarters
Leman, a registered and licensed occupational therapist, has more than 25 years of experience in rehabilitation services. Most recently, she was the director of rehabilitation operations at Benedictine Health System (BHS), and was responsible for the therapy operations of all BHS facilities. She began her career in the industry as a clinical coordinator of occupational therapy at Mid-America Rehabilitation Hospital.
Leman has a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Kansas University Medical Center and a bachelor’s degree in Education from Illinois State University. She holds a National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) since 1992.
Leman is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Kansas and Missouri Occupational Therapy Association and Kansas City Area Rehab Directors Association.
