National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners Appoints Rhonda Brand as President

SPARTA, N.J. — The National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP) has appointed Rhonda Brand as its new president.

Brand has worked in the healthcare industry for over 27 years. She has held a variety of positions such as activity director, admissions director, adult day care director, dementia unit manager, administrator, national consultant, national trainer and public speaker.

Brand served as the president of the Northwest NJ Gathering of Activity Professionals (NWNJGAP). She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certified Alzheimer’s Disease Dementia Care Trainer, Certified Dementia Care Manager (for Dementia Unit Managers), Certified First Responder Dementia Trainer and Certified Dementia Support Group Facilitator. She is also a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Certified Assisted Living Administrator and Certified Activity Director. 

Brand is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University.

Based in Sparta, NCCDP was formed in 2003 to provide comprehensive dementia education and dementia certification to healthcare professionals and frontline staff working in the healthcare industry.
