Priority Life Care Appoints Dennis Murphy as Chief Investment Officer

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Priority Life Care (PLC), a Fort Wayne-based third-party operator, has hired Dennis Murphy as the company’s first-ever chief investment officer (CIO). 

In conjunction with this hire, PLC announces the launch of its new growth fund aimed at expanding its footprint and enhancing its senior living communities.

Murphy will lead capital raise initiatives, oversee underwriting, manage investor relations and direct asset management and the execution of all new joint ventures. With over 16 years of expertise in seniors housing, Murphy’s background spans accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), operations and investment roles.

Prior to joining PLC, Murphy held executive positions at Benchmark Senior Living, contributing to FP&A, operations and investments over a 14-year tenure. Most recently, he served as president and chief investment officer at Lloyd Jones, where he managed the company’s seniors housing portfolio.

Murphy is also a published thought leader, with three articles featured in NIC Insider. He has shared his expertise as a panelist at industry.
