ThriveMore Plans 70-Acre CCRC in North Carolina

NEW BERN, N.C. — ThriveMore’s board of trustee’s has approved the next phase of design and development for Brice Pointe, the organization’s new continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in New Bern in coastal North Carolina. 

Situated on a 70-acre campus, the development will feature 152 independent living apartments; 52 villas and cottages; and 18 assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing units. Amenities at the CCRC will include walking trails, outdoor gathering spaces, wellness and educational opportunities and access to nearby golf, pickleball and tennis facilities. 

The community is scheduled to open in 2030. 

ThriveMore is a faith-based, nonprofit senior living organization. Brice Pointe marks the fifth CCRC for the company, which was founded in 1951.
