EDMOND, Okla., ABILENE, Texas, and SAN ANGELO, Texas — Sagora Senior Living has acquired Royal Estates of Abilene in Abilene, Royal Estates of San Angelo in San Angelo and Copper Lake Estates in Edmond for an undisclosed price.
All three properties are independent living and assisted living communities. Edmond is a suburb of Oklahoma City, while Abilene and San Angelo are approximately 90 miles away from each other in Central Texas.
Chicago-based Senior Lifestyle Corp., the seller of all three properties, is the seventh-largest operator and eighth-largest owner of seniors housing properties in the U.S., according to the American Seniors Housing Association.
Sagora will rebrand the communities, but has not yet released the new names. Fort Worth-based Sagora operates 21 seniors housing communities in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama and Florida.
