ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Senior Living Investment Brokerage, a seniors housing-focused brokerage firm based in Chicago, has launched a new financial services venture known as Monarch Advisors.

Alec Blanc, a 30-year veteran of healthcare real estate banking, will lead the St. Louis-based company as its managing director. Blanc most recently served as team leader for Regions Banks’ healthcare banking group. Throughout his career, Blanc has originated, underwritten and approved more than $1 billion in healthcare and seniors housing real estate loans.

Monarch’s services include acquisition finance, construction/development, bridge-to-HUD and agency loans, conventional bank debt, working capital, permanent debt, mezzanine debt and equity.

“We expect Monarch to be a skilled and trusted advisor, raising all forms of capital for owners and operators of seniors housing and long-term care properties, allowing them to focus on what’s most important: the care and service of their residents,” Blanc said in an email to clients.
