ATLANTA — Allegro Senior Living has acquired three seniors housing communities in metro Atlanta in a joint venture with Artemis Real Estate Partners, and will operate all three under its newly launched Alto brand.
The communities are located in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, as well as the suburbs of Alpharetta and Marietta. The three will all be branded Alto, which is a further play on Allegro’s musical theme. Allegro means “lively tempo,” and Alto means “high” in Italian.
The Alpharetta community was built in 1999, with 72 units of assisted living and memory care. The Buckhead community was built in 2000, with 68 units of assisted living and memory care. The Marietta community was built in 1998, with 55 units of assisted living and memory care.
The acquisitions mark St. Louis-based owner-operator Allegro’s entrance into the Atlanta market.
