BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Atlas Senior Living has announced construction timelines for a new location in Florida and two in Texas, both of which are new territories for the company. Atlas expects Fall 2021 to be the opening date for all three communities.
In Venice, Florida, Atlas plans to break ground this fall on Legacy Reserve Venice. The community will offer 114 independent living, 38 assisted living and 15 memory care units. Venice is located approximately midway between Tampa and Fort Myers
Groundbreaking is scheduled for early 2020 on both Texas projects. An unnamed project will be built in Georgetown, just north of Austin, while Legacy Reserve New Braunfels will be built in New Braunfels, just northeast of San Antonio. The communities will each feature 175 independent living, 40 assisted living and 16 memory care.
In addition, Atlas is expanding its community in Greenville, South Carolina. The extension will add 110 independent living units to Fairview Park, an assisted living and memory care community. Construction starts October 2019 and is scheduled for completion by September 2020.
Birmingham-based Atlas Senior Living operates 11 retirement communities in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky.
