NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — Capitol Seniors Housing has broken ground on The Outlook at Hamilton Town Center, an active adult community in Noblesville, a suburb of Indianapolis. The 145,000-square-foot, four-story community is reserved for those age 55 and older and will offer 164 units. Cadence McShane Construction to Build 200-Unit Century Heights Active Adult Community in Beaumont, Texas

BEAUMONT, Texas — The City of Beaumont Housing Authority, in partnership with Brinshore Development, has selected Cadence McShane Construction Co. to build Century Heights, an active adult community in Beaumont, located near the Louisiana border east of Houston. The property will feature 200 units on a 6.8 acre plot.The four-story low-rise will feature four different unit configurations, varying between one- and two-bedroom apartments. Steinberg Dickey Collaborative is serving as project architect. Completion of the project is slated for the end of 2022.

FORT WORTH and DENTON, Texas — An affiliate of Livingston Street Capital has acquired a portfolio comprising two active adult communities totaling 402 units in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. The properties include a 162-unit community in Fort Worth, which the firm has rebranded as The Spring at Silverton, and a 240-unit community in Denton, which the firm has rebranded as Sunstone Village. PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — Miami-based Origin Construction has unveiled plans for America Walks, an active adult rental community in Port St. Lucie spanning 60 acres and more than 400 residences. Homestead Senior Living Breaks Ground on 131-Unit Active Adult Community in Blacklick, Ohio

BLACKLICK, Ohio — Homestead Senior Living has broken ground on Homestead Village, a 131-unit active adult community in Blacklick, approximately 10 miles east of Columbus. The property will span 122,275 square feet and is scheduled to open in October 2022. Development costs were estimated at $14.5 million, with Homestead Construction as the contractor. Homestead’s “active senior” designation is marketed toward people 55 and older, are just retired and do not require any form of assisted living. The average resident age is between 60 and 75.
