CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Newbridge Properties has broken ground on Newbridge Retirement Community in Cape Girardeau, located along the Mississippi River in the southeast portion of the state. The 75,000-square-foot community will feature 46 assisted living units, 12 second-person accommodations for couples and 36 memory care units. Vessel Architecture is the architect for the facility, while IMPACT Strategies is the construction manager. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of 2022.
CAMARILLO, Calif. — Kennedy Wilson (NYSE: KW) has signed a long-term ground lease for a 32-acre parcel in Camarillo owned by California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) with plans to build a new residential community. The master-planned project will include 310 market-rate apartments, 109 for-sale townhomes and 170 income-restricted apartments for seniors. It will also feature community-serving amenities. EAST HANOVER, N.J. — CHA Partners has opened LIVIA East Hanover, a 100,000 square-foot seniors housing community in East Hanover, approximately 30 miles west of Manhattan. The property features 86 beds for long-term care and 37 beds for assisted living and memory care. Construction for LIVIA East Hanover began in late 2020 CHA Partners is currently working on its second LIVIA second facility, located in nearby Totowa. That property is scheduled to open its 310,000-square-foot campus in early 2022.
