SHREWSBERRY, Mo. — Spellman Brady & Co. has completed the interior design for the addition to Our Mother of Perpetual Help Memory Care on the Cardinal Ritter Senior Service’s Shrewsberry campus. The single-story memory care addition has two wings consisting of 13 private units each. A small-home concept guided the overall design to create a residential home-like, non-institutional setting for residents. Spellman Brady collaborated with Vessel Architecture, which developed the building addition, and BSI Constructors, the general contractor for the project.

Located in St. Peters, a western suburb of St. Louis, the 195,000-square-foot campus will feature 161 units. FLORISSANT and DeSMET, Mo. — Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of two seniors housing communities in northwest St. Louis. Pacifica Senior Living divested of the communities as non-core assets. Located in Florissant and DeSmet, the properties total 165 units of independent living and assisted living. An investment fund out of St. Louis, a new entrant to the seniors housing industry, bought the assets and plans to convert one property into multifamily housing and maintain the other as a seniors housing community. The price was not disclosed.

JACKSON, Mo. — Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of Jackson Manor Nursing Home, a 90-bed skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Jackson, approximately 110 miles south of St. Louis. A public REIT sold the asset to a local owner-operator for an undisclosed price. The facility was originally constructed in 1979 and features all private rooms. With limited local competition, Jackson Manor maintained consistent census and quality mix levels through local and regional referral sources around nearby Cape Girardeau.
