AUGUSTA, Ga. — CR Properties LLC has unveiled plans for The Claiborne at West Lake, an assisted living and memory care community near Augusta, approximately 150 miles east of Atlanta near the South Carolina border.
CR expects to break ground on the community during the first quarter of 2017. The exact unit count has not been determined, but the developers estimate the community will feature 72 assisted living units and 30 memory care units.
Once complete, Blake Management Group will operate the community. The company currently operates seniors housing communities in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and South Carolina. This will be Blake’s first entry into Georgia.
CR Properties is a Hattiesburg, Miss.-based real estate developer. The company currently has assisted living facilities in Mississippi and Louisiana, with several planned for Georgia.
