Housing & Healthcare Finance Hires Keith Reuben as CEO

BETHESDA, Md. — Housing & Healthcare Finance (HHC), a Bethesda-based financial services company serving the healthcare real estate industry, has hired Keith Reuben as the company’s chief executive officer to lead the company’s planned expansion.

Concurrent with the new hire, HHC also announced Erik Lindenauer will serve as the firm’s executive chairman and Richard Lerner will serve as the firm’s executive vice chairman. Lindenauer, Lerner and Reuben will comprise HHC’s board.

Prior to joining HHC, Reuben served as president of Specialty Finance Partners, a healthcare and commercial finance advisory firm that he co-founded. Previously he was the executive vice president of commercial and specialty finance business at Capital One Bank and president of a number of national business lines, including healthcare credit, healthcare real estate, healthcare sponsor finance, security/homeland defense, technology sponsor finance and Capital One business credit.

Reuben was also previously part of the senior management team at CapitalSource Inc., most recently as the president of company’s commercial finance business. Early in his career he practiced corporate and securities law, representing a variety of private equity firms.

Reuben holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
