WESTMONT, Ill. — Pathway to Living has opened Aspired Living of Westmont, a 107-unit independent living, assisted living and memory care community in the Chicago suburb of Westmont.
Located on three acres, the community offers 73 units of independent living and assisted living. It also marks the debut of Pathway’s “Spark of Life” memory care program, which will be offered in the 34 private memory care suites.
The designer on the project was Arizona-based firm Thoma-Holec Design.
The Westmont community is the second developed by Pathway to Living since the company formed an equity partnership with Waterton, a Chicago-based real estate firm specializing in multifamily and hospitality properties. The firms’ first joint project, Azpira Place of Lake Zurich, a 120-unit assisted living and memory care community in Lake Zurich, Ill., opened in May 2017. Pathway now has 31 communities currently operating or under construction throughout the Midwest.
Pathway to Living, formerly named Pathway Senior Living, is a Chicago-based developer, owner and operator of seniors housing communities totaling more than 2,800 units in Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
