LANCASTER, Pa. — Presbyterian Senior Living (PSL) has unveiled plans for LongCrest, an affordable seniors housing apartment complex in Lancaster, approximately between Philadelphia and the state capital of Harrisburg.

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held May 14 for the four-acre, 52-unit project. Construction costs are estimated at $19 million.

The apartments will have units available in a range of income restrictions from 20 to 60 percent of the area median income. LongCrest will also offer both fully handicap-accessible units, as well as units that are accessible for individuals with hearing and/or vision difficulties.

Presbyterian Senior Living was awarded $12 million in tax credits by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency for this project.
