LAS VEGAS — ZNest.com, a Las Vegas-based seniors housing referral platform. has acquired Odom Senior Care, which was launched by two-time NBA champion and former reality TV star Lamar Odom earlier this year to provide referral services for senior care.
As part of the deal, Odom will assume the position of chief creative officer at ZNest.com.
Odom embarked on a mission to demystify the complex world of senior living and care after recognizing the challenges families face when searching for quality, affordable care solutions. Inspired by Odom’s 96-year-old grandmother, Odom Senior Care was built on the foundational premise of making the daunting task of choosing the right senior care a straightforward and transparent process in Southern California.
ZNest.com, founded by Bennett Kim, mirrors a similar ethos and mission. Kim, who serves as CEO, envisioned ZNest.com as a national resource, aiding families in navigating through the intricate web of senior living and care options.
“It became abundantly clear that ZNest.com and Odom Senior Care not only share similar visions but are also driven by parallel missions rooted deeply in personal family experiences,” says Kim, who has two decades of seniors housing experience and a longtime personal mission to democratize information about the senior housing industry. “Both organizations strive to provide transparency in the opaque world of senior living, aiming to connect families with senior living facilities that fit their personal needs.”
“We have the same goals, so it just made sense for us to work together,” adds Odom.
ZNest.com is on track to unveil its consumer-facing website this January.
