KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Tutera Senior Living & Health Care will open the first units at its newest Tutera Senior Living & Health Care location starting in June. The property is in the Tiffany Springs neighborhood of Kansas City.
The 172-unit independent living portion will open first, with 89 assisted living and memory care units following in July. The 289,000-square-foot property will offer 95,000 square feet of amenities and sits on a 4.1-acre plot. Development costs were estimated at $55 million.
The new residential community will be connected via a breezeway to Tutera’s Tiffany Springs Rehabilitation & Health Care Center that offers both short-term rehabilitation services and extended stays.
Tutera partnered with Nearing Staats Prelogar & Jones Architects, BHC RHODES engineering firm and Luke Draily Construction Co. on the project.
