NIANTIC, Conn. — Benchmark has hired Jessica Colangelo as the new executive director at Crescent Point at Niantic, an assisted living community in Niantic, a coastal village located across the Long Island Sound from The Hamptons.
Colangelo spent nearly a decade as an administrator for local skilled nursing facilities. She replaces Shaun Mastroianni, who was promoted to lead Benchmark’s Capitol Ridge at Providence community in Providence, R.I.
Colangelo has served as an administrator for Autumn Lake Healthcare in Cromwell, and Orange Healthcare in Orange and an assistant administrator at Gladeview Health Care Center in Old Saybrook.
Colangelo graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health policy and management from Providence College, received a certificate in long -term care administration from the University of Connecticut and earned an master’s degree in business administration and management from the University of New Haven.
