MARANA, Ariz. — Cadence Living has been appointed manager at La Sonora at Dove Mountain, a 142-unit independent living, assisted living and memory community in Marana, located in the Dove Mountain area north of Tucson. The community is located on a six-acre campus near restaurants, healthcare services and the Ritz Carlton hotel. Mountain Plains Equity Group and Senior Living Fund own the property, which is scheduled to open in October.

MINEOLA, N.Y. — Seeking to address estimates that more than a third of COVID-19 deaths nationally have occurred in nursing homes and long-term care facilities — more than 38,000 — the American Medical Directors Association published recommendations for reducing the spread of the pandemic virus among residents and staff. LIBERTY, Mo. — Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has negotiated the lease with a new operator for Ashton Court Care and Rehabilitation Centre in the Kansas City suburb of Liberty. The property features a total of 140 skilled nursing beds. The operator sought to exit the state of Missouri to focus on its core markets. The incoming tenant has worked with Blueprint to become operator at 15 other facilities previously, and is strategically expanding within Missouri. The landlord is a REIT.
